Cruises

I just read that some cruises won't accept passengers past 20 weeks. Anyone hear of this? Which cruise lines? DH and I are thinking about a babymoon in June but I will be about 27 weeks for the week I wanted to go! Chat Icon

Re: Cruises

I have definitely heard of that. I'd go earlier than you planned or possibly pick a different vacation...

This is what I got off Carnival's website...

PREGNANCY POLICY
Please be advised that guests who are 27 weeks or more into their pregnancy at the time of the voyage will not be permitted to sail because of the risk of premature labor.

And from Royal Caribbean's site...
If pregnant guests have entered or will be entering their 27th week before or during the cruise, they will be unable to travel. A physician's Fit to Travel note stating that they are in good health, not a high risk pregnancy, and not entering the 27th week is required.

and of course check the policy of the cruise line you are considering... but from these 2, it looks like 27 weeks is the cut off.

Re: Cruises

Oh no! We really wanted to go on a cruise from NY or Bayonne so I didn't have to worry about flying. This really stinks. I am only able to go that time due to work restrictions. ay ay ay!

Re: Cruises

Well, this is princess's policy:
Pregnancy: Princess cannot accept passengers who will have entered the 28th week of pregnancy by the end of the vacation.

A little more reassuring!
