Wow 22 is a huge den! My hat is off to you I hope you have help with a group that big.
If you haven't done Achievement 9 Whats Cooking you could have the boys make a healthy snack (ants on a log, alien apples etc) and talk about healthy choices. As a craft/take home they can make trail mix and put it in a container that they decorate for Halloween.
If you do the pumpkin carving you can work in whittling chip if you haveenough parents to help.
Thanks for the ideas....Yes we are huge. We have 3 leaders at all times and last year our asst cub master was at most mtgs as well.
I have to look at the whittling....I was just reading about that last night with the soap bars. They'd love it but with so many and knives - I need lots of parents...lol.
I try to avoid all food crafts as I have a scouts who is allergic to most everything (nuts and dairy are his biggest but other things as well). And a couple nut allergy boys. Not worth the risk bringing in food.
But if you every have any scout ideas - I'd love to hear them. Are you a leader as well?

Cub scouts
I am leader and committee chair. My scouts are Webelos ll so we are almost ready to bridge. Are you on pinterest? There are tons of great scout projects pinned. I have a Nassau Scout places board and a Cub Scout board.

UGH I soooo needed one. $75 it cost me for everything, but I have it already now. Thanks for posting though, Maybe some of us can offer up to sell what we have or give to others as they age.
