CYST IN OVARY???
Did anyone ever have this? Did it go away? Was it surgically removed?

I had a cyst on my ovary, not in, during my pregnancy, and yes, that one eventually went away.
But, when I went for my first visit with my RE a few months ago, the ultrasound detected a small cyst on my ovary. She thought it was a dermoid cyst, which is harmless, and sent me for an MRI. The MRI revealed it's an endometrioma cyst, which is indicative of endometriosis.
How big or small is the cyst? Are you seeing a specialist? Are they going to do further testing?

The cyst looked rather large on the internal monitor.
My gyn gave me provera to induce a af. He said to follow up in 4 weeks.
The reason I saw him was that AF had not come since Nov 20, 2007.
He said if it does not go away they would investigate further

I have previously had a cyst on my ovary but never in. That cyst burst on its own....very painful

I've had them...quite a few times due to stim drugs. They usually go away on their own after a few weeks.

Same with me.. I have them all the time with these drugs (or maybe I always had them and didn't know since I never got sono's before I went on the drugs).. but they are fine they go a way on their own.

Yup, right when I was supposed to start my IVF cycle they found a 60mm cyst on my right ovary (formed naturally-not from meds). I was put on BCP's for 4 weeks and it was pretty much gone by then.

I had a huge cyst on my ovary 8 years ago. I freaked out because the Doctor said it was so big it had to be removed and I probably would lose my ovary. She also thought it could be cancerous because it was so big. I was 20 at the time and 4 months away from getting married and soooo scared. I saw a specialist and the next ultrasound the cyst was gone....just like that. They did talk about putting me on BC to shrink it though. I've had small ones after that though. I have Polycystic ovaries but not PCOS. FM me if you have any questions.
