UPDATE AGAIN: Doppler apt...Cyst on right ovary HELP
I got my nutro screen last night and baby looks great but they found a cyst on my right adnexa. She said she didnt know if it was on my ovary or not and I freaked out and thought the worst of course. The sono tech said it was large. My dr. is not coming in until 10am and I'm like crying at my desk..i'm 13 weeks pregnant today. Has anyone else experienced this?? I have no pain or anything..oh man Dr. please call back!!!
UPDATE: I have a cyst on my right ovary the size of an orange. I have to get it dopplered on Friday to see the blood flow and then I will most likely have to get it surgically removed..I'm really freakin out. Please pray that it shrinks or something..I need all that I can get. I'm really scared.
UPDATE 2: Ok so i def have to have it removed. They want to put me in the hospital between 16 & 20 weeks and I should be there for 4 days. I was referred to a gyno oncologist and I guess I'll know more next week. Thank you so much for your well wishes and prayers. I'll keep you guys updated on the progress!! P.S. They don't know what kind of cyst it is except that its large.

Thanks Nicole..Still waiting to hear back from the doctor. I'm hoping its just like that lutheal cyst thing..I dont know..eeek..i'm trying to keep my mind off it and not do research on the internet but its hard!!! I've heard lots of pregnant woman get cysts, maybe I'm one of them.

Cysts and other growths are pretty normal in pregnancy. I have a bunch of fibroids growing around my uterus, with the largest being about 5 inches around. I also had a large cyst on my right ovary that has since been reabsorbed naturally. With all the extra hormones in the system, the body just produces lots of little extras.
If you were in a dire situation, you're doctor would've been called immediately, or you would've been sent to the hospital. Try not to worry.

Yeah thats what i thought but it just sucks..I've never had a cyst before..its just scary!! I'm trying not to worry..I know bean is fine!! moving around, having hiccups :)

I'm amazed that my baby has room to move there are so many fibroids in there- but the doctor said she's well protected.
And cysts are VERY common....

I've known a few women who have been through this and went on to have healthy pregnancies and babies. I hope the cyst shrinks, and that your Dr. will gove you the best possible care.

Thank you. Its so weird because I go to the GYNO every six months..i've never had a cyst or anything before and now this..sheesh..so much for an uneventful pregnancy!!!

it's actually very common to get cysts during PG. I had one with my first daughter and it was just monitored during my PG. It didn't dissolve on it's own so after more monitoring and sonos it was eventually removed.

I just met a woman who had a cyst - at 9 wks they wanted her to terminate the pregnancy - she got another opinion - she is now at 9 mts - she goes to a high risk dr, but everything is healthy with her and the baby - I know these things are scary - I'd be terrified, I have to admit - but wanted to let you know there is a lot of good news out there with stuff like this...
We live in a great time where all complications can be handled with the right dr....

Thank you everyone. The Dr. said she dosen't want it to rupture or leak and because its so big and I'm prego we don't have the luxury of waiting to see if it goes down. This sucks but I guess I'll take it as it comes.
