daily monitoring w IUI - is this normal?
Anyone else have experience with this?
My RE's practice (LI IVF) monitors with bw and sonos daily once you get close to ovulation...i've been there every day since friday, and I have go again tomorrow for more monitoring...that's 5 days in a row! It's a little frustrating and annoying (my arms are bruised too).
anyone else have this many days of monitoring before doing their IUI?? Should I be concerned?
I've been on clomid before I typically get a surge on CD14 or 15....today's day 15 and I didnt surge 
I'm starting to get stressed...

That's how it was for me. I would start out going about every 3 days, then every other day, and then when the follies were getting close to being large enough to trigger I'd have to go everyday. I went to ECF.

I don't go to LI IVF but I never went that often for monitoring for IUI - only for IVF. Are you triggering? Once you start to get close, they know your follicles will grow about 2mm per day so they should be able to judge when you should come back, and then have you trigger. At the most, I went 2 days in a row for triggering, and that was only b/c we were trying to let a 3rd follicle catch up and time the trigger perfectly.

From other girls on here I have noticed that Li-IVF does monitor you VERY closely...at NSUH I went in once at CD 3 then again CD 10 then finally for my IUI.

I don't think I ever went every day. When I got really close I would go every other day. Then again, I didn't ovulate on my own so they were just watching for the folicle size so they would know when to trigger me.

I have always ovulated on my own, so I dont know if I will need to trigger.
I guess i'm just getting concerned because today's CD15 and every time i've been on clomid i've gotten my surge on 14, and once on 15. I imagine it's coming soon...but I thought that Friday too! LOL
i swear, the more monitoring I do, the more worried I get! guess Ijust need to relax....

i never had to go in every single day, at most, every other day as i was getting closer to O'ing. they wanted to make sure of my follie size so that I could trigger

YES! And it was so frustrating, especially because I had to drop off DD at daycare the minute it opened and drive like a mad woman to get there in time!! But on my second IUI I got a BFP! Good luck

Yes I went everyday for 4-6 days for each of my IUIs, not including the 3 and 10 day appts. I know how you feel and wonder sometimes why I don't see more complaints about bloodwork on here. My arms are so sore and look ridiculous! By that 5th and 6th day I am crying uncle! I go to LI IVF, I have nothing else to compare the monitoring too.

glad to see some of you had teh same experience...I really thought that once they asked me to come daily that ovulation was "immenent". I understand that they dont want to miss my surge and all, but...
I thought that my vein was goign to break during BW this morning. 
anyway...enough complaints...it'll happen when it's ready to. I've just got to keep thinking positive!
