Dancing school
My daughter recently took a trial dance class in Bellmore. She's 7. We live in Massapequa. Does anyone know of any dancing schools in the Massapequa area that have special needs classes (and offer a trial). She's autistic but loves to dance.

Re: Dancing school
I'm in Amity Harbor and I'm almost positive I've seen signs for special needs classes at the dance school on the corner of 110 and Merrick Rd. in Amityville. The name escapes me but they have two spaces.....next to Amity Harbor sports and next to Revolution.
I think it's Create Dance Center or something like that......

Dancing school
I don't live in your area so my dance school wouldn't help you but we tried a special needs class and it was a disaster for her. What we ended up doing was placing her in a regular dance class and the owner provided her with her own assistant (a girl from one of the older classes) who helped her in learning the steps and gave her 1:1 attention that she sometimes needed. It was the perfect option for her and she's doing great.
