Oh ya. Are they Pressed wood? Thats what I want to stay away from. Thats why I wont buy them from ikea.

What about Gothic Cabinet...I think that's the name of the place on Middle Country Rd in Lake Grove.

ikea admirer here.......
ikea has a new line called 'stockholm' which has high-end solid wood furniture, natural fibers.... even in their couch cushions!
at any rate, they have a bookcase or 2 in that line that look really nice, and may be what you're looking for... unless the wood stain is too light (from the online pics, it looks like it's close to a dark caramel / medium brown)
