Davenport Press for baby shower
Anyone been there for dinner, party, or shower recently ? , to would like feedback on food, decor and how the party room was layed out.

We just had my sister's bridal shower there a few weeks ago and it was EXCELLENT. They have a few rooms for you to choose from, depending on how many guests you're having. Two are upstairs, though, so if you have anyone who can't do stairs, those won't be an option for you.
The food was excellent, as was the service.
The place itself is really nice so I'm not sure what you're asking about decor. They had a balloon package that we took advantage of because it was less expensive than other places we priced. But then we did some of our own decorating, too.

I've been there for two bridal showers
it's a decent place, but IMO the room in the back where the showers were is a bit dark. The ceilings are low and the lighting is dim, so it makes pictures difficult.
The food has been decent both times, nothing bad that I can remember

Ok thanks. I looked into decor & it looks like old world charm. I'm surprised they don't have elevators for the upstairs rooms. Everyone loved the food so that's good. How many courses ?

I was there for a rehearsal dinner and felt the upstairs room was small for 30 people. i could not imagine having a shower with gifts and 30 people in there.

Davenport Press for baby shower
I had my baby shower there. 40 people. Upstairs. Plenty of room. It's really nice. The staff and food are excellent.
I also had my bridal shower there :)

I had my rehearsal dinner there and been there two other times for family parties. I enjoyed it and think they have good food and it is a nice atmosphere.

delicious food. i used to work around the block from there and went to many holiday parties there.
