day care moms- clothing

dd is starting day care soon- she will be 5 months, and it will be the beginning of summer. What do you dress your babies in for day care? She needs new clothes so i don't even know what to get- at first i was like "i need a lot of short sleeve carters onesies." but i assume she will be indoors a lot and there will be AC- do you dress your babies in long sleeves and pants for day care in summer? should i mainly get long sleeve sleepers/onesies?

Re: day care moms- clothing

I dress her for the weather outside pretty much.
I really like the romper type things- one piece, easy to change diapers in.
Or at that age, a fancy onesie that is more like an outfit.

I never send my DD in anything too fancy. She usually wears something comfortable and according to the season.

In winter, I would put her in long sleeve onesies and pants/jeans.

In summer, so far, I usually send her in a shortsleeve onesie and lightweight pants (since the AC keeps the room cool).

Ditto
did this with DS and he's been there since he was 3 months old. Lighter is the summer and warmer in winter. Cute, but inexpensive clothes. Also, don't forget the socks! Chat Icon

Re: day care moms- clothing

Right now I send DS in a short sleeved onesie and shorts.. and I will send in pants incase the AC is too cold.

In the winter I usually sent him in a long sleeved onsie and pants with a hooded sweat shirt just incase.

I sent DS in those one piece outfits from Carters a lot - although there is ac on in the daycare, it doesn't seem to be too cold.
