I sent DS to daycare 2 days a week when he turned 2. My DD will be 15 months on the 27th and she starts this Tuesday. She will also be going 2 days a week. My mother watches my kids nad I don't "have" to send them to daycare, but I wanted to give my mother a little break and I also want them with other kids. They learn sooooo much, you will be so surprised!Even though my kids are older, it was very hard on me, but seeing the love the teachers give to the kids and seeing your child enjoy being with their friends, makes it so much easier! I walk by the infant room and I melt watching the teachers with them. They treat them like their own. The first day will be the hardest. I sobbed in my car for 1/2 hour and walked back in to take my son home. The director took me by the hand to his room and made me peek in. You know what I saw? My son laughing and giggling and having a great time!

I know your situation is a little different because your DD is still an infant, but trust me...she will be fine, you'll seeChat Icon
