Daycare moms - quick question...
When DC moves to the next room, do you do anything for the teachers in the old room? I'm a bit late in posting this, of course - DS's last few hours in the old room are tomorrow - so any quick answers would be great.
Possible relevant info:
.DS has been in the old room since July 1
.There are 16 kids, 5 total teachers. If we do for one, we have to do for all.
.We did get them all a Visa gc for the holidays

I always do. They take care of my children for an entire year for over 8 hours a day. (I will add I work there too) Most of our parents give an end of the year gift.

So far we haven't really been in that situation...just a bunch of others. Soon DS will be leaving his room (which is connected with his previous room) and I think we'll do cupcakes for his last day...a thank you card for the teachers...MAYBE a little something like a rose for each.

I never gave anything for moving rooms or otherwise unless it was a holiday. I gave gift cards for Christmas and candy for Halloween, but DS was never in a room more than a few months before he moved up so I didn't think it was necessary.

DS switched in Jan. shortly after Christmas (we gave Simon GC) so did not do anything. I DID write the head teacher a nice letter thanking her for all she did, because she was GREAT and eased a neurotic mom's fears 
You could always just do small bouquets or something.
