Daycare Moms
How do you label DC's stuff...and FAST as DS is starting tomorrow?
I am going to Target and the food store soon so if anything can be purchased there, that would be awesome!
Thanks as always!!

Re: Daycare Moms
I just used a sharpie. DD's extra clothes are in one of those Ziploc bags you can write on. Though she's in a small in-home daycare and was the only one on formula.

Re: Daycare Moms
Since he starts tomorrow, I would go with a sharpie. I use Mabel's Labels.

Re: Daycare Moms
I use Stuck on You labels, but I think your only option right now is a sharpie

Re: Daycare Moms
You just have to write the name everyday with a Sharpie on bottles, because it always comes off with washing.
For blankets and clothes a Sharpie lasts so it is good.
I get my labels for cups (which you can use on bottles too) here Stuck on You

Re: Daycare Moms
even a waterproof sharpie is going to come off with every washing - that's what i tried first.
then i went to CVS and bought a cheap label maker - it was like $5.99. i used it for bottles and containers, and the labels are still stuck 2 months later.

Re: Daycare Moms
I orderd those microwave/dishwasher safe labels for all of her cups, bowls and tupperware.
I use a waterproof sharpie to label her boxes of crackers, cheerios, zip loc bags of pretzels, sandwiches, etc.
I don't label her clothes. I did write her name in her sneakers with the sharpie though since 3 girls in her class have the same ones!!
Labels - it's mine usa

Re: Daycare Moms
Our daycare recommended using nail polish to label the bottoms of the botles.

Thanks everyone!
I am going to sharpie the bottles...
Once he picks a sippy he likes (he HATES bottles) I will get the fancy labels for those sippys.
My dining room table is covered

I get my labels for cups (which you can use on bottles too) here Stuck on You For fastest way, sharpie is best. I use the Stuck on you labels too. They can take a few weeks to arrive though.
As far as clothing, I bought a marker that writes on clothes at Michael's. I label EVERYTHING!!!!

Re: Daycare Moms
First I bought the nice labels online. But I went through them very quickly. I now use my labelmaker for sippy cups, spoons & that sort of stuff. I bought iron-on labels for blankies and that kind of stuff. Sharpies wear off almost immediately for me.
