DC waking each night and unable to soothe herself back to sleep
I thought it was teething but it isnt, she wakes and cant get back down without a bottle..naps are brutal too taking over an hour to get her down of fussing etc...she is just under 6 months! What did you do when this happened..at one point, i put her in the crib and let her cry a bit, then i tried a binky(she has never taken one) to see, she usually gags on them and spits it out but seriously, we were fine for 2 months and all of a sudden, up every night, naps take forever to even get her down etc....

Re: DC waking each night and unable to soothe herself back to sleep
I was having a tough time with naps as well...then I tried her in a swing...and she'll nap there 1 1/2 - 2 hours now.
ETA: if she fusses/cries in the swing... I do let her cry...she never cries for more than 5-7 minutes. If her crying escalated... i'd pick her up...calm her down and put her back in the swing. but that is very rare now but needed to be done in the beginning.
Good Luck!

Re: DC waking each night and unable to soothe herself back to sleep
I just broke her of that habit because she got too big, i think she has been in her crib about a month now for naps... She goes down eventually and will nap 1.5 hours exactly , it is funny but it is the nights and how she rewakes, wants a bottle to suck on to go back down etc...terrible habits and i am wondering if i have to do the CIO- i dread that but otherwise, she just fusses either way so i am not sure...
