So far I got these for 50% off at Kohls!  
This is her list so far. We won't get her all of it but I will let other people know who are buying for her.
either the FP or Leap Frog learning table
a jack in the box
peg puzzles
a duffle bag with her name on it
jewelry box
those towels from PBKs that are animals in toddler size

DS got
a couple of Melissa and doug puzzles
a zoobie
little people race track
and I will just kjeep my eye out.
My problem is I want to give it to him, so it doesnt make it til christmas, like this toy

he spotted it in the store, and LOOOVED it, he was all over it when we got home, and has not stopped playing with it since..I recommend this toy for sure.
Where did you find this, it is adorable and would love to ge tit for ds
