What to do? She has been able to drink from a straw for a long time, but I don't regularly give her the straw sippy cups because she tosses cups around and they leak all over the place. Because of the leaking, I feel like I am holding her back with the less advanced sippys. Any ideas....do straw sippys that don't leak exist?

We used Nuby straw cups...they have a valve so they "don't" leak (they still can a little, but not a lot). Now we use just take and toss straw cups and they don't leak all that much if she drops it. Occassionally the lid will pop off though, which is messy.

i also use the nuby straw sippys. but found the ones the little ones with handles on side break easly and then leak.. (dd tosses them) the bigger ones without the handles are alot better.. those she tosses and dont leak at all.

eta: this is the nuby one that doesnt break easly and doesnt leak:

Strange question - if you turn them upside down and shake them does the liquid inside pour out? As you can see we have problems with the straw too Chat Icon

the only water I ever had leak out was if the straw was squeezed at same time as it being put upside down
