DD invited to her first birthday party - have question
DD got invited to her first birthday party at a kid's gym type place. Do both parents usually attend the party, or just one? I first told DH that he didn't have to go, but this is his goddaughter, so he thinks he should go. I called the mother and left a message, but she hasn't called back.

For a godparent, I'd say both go.
Otherwise, one parent is fine.

Ditto. Most parties I've been to with DS, only one parent goes. Sometimes both are there, so either way, it won't be out of the ordinary. However, since he has a relationship with the b-day girl, I think he should go.
