DD is not eating...please help!(both FF and BFing moms)
I posted the other day that I thought she was weaing herself (she's 6 1/2 months). So for Thurs., Fri. and Sat. she really just took the bottle. I didn't pump because I wanted my supply to decrease. Well yesterday she decided that she wants the boob back and won't take more than 2 ounces from the bottle (I think she had a total of maybe 10 ounces today!). When she nurses I don't think she is getting anything because I can't feel my let down and I don't hear her swallowing. Please help...I think she's on a hunger strike and I'm afraid she'll be up all night

Is she teething perhaps? It sounds like she may be (or something else is bothering her) and she went on a nursing strike. If you want to continue nursing, there is still hope. You can try to get your milk back up with fenugreek, Mother's Milk tea (from GNC) and extra pumping.
I found this on kellymom.........
LINK
About half way down the page, there is a blurb on nursing strikes. Click on that too!
I hope it all works out for you!

Thanks Mrs. Patticakes. The weird thing is, I never even became engorged after like 12 hours of not nursing And for a few months now, I really don't pump anything out. But she's gaining weight so I guess she was getting enough. I'm just nervous now that I have no milk and after almost 7 months, I'm just too exhausted and drained and stressed to get my supply back up. I think I'm going to take her to the ped. tomorrow.

My friend had a lot of problems with her son and the bottle. When she was desperate they spoon fed him the milk. He only drinks from a Nuk bottle. He also takes the sippy cup better. She used a faster nipple and it helped as well.
