Deena Kastor to run Cow Harbor?
Olympic Bronze medalist and current American marathon record holder Deena (Drossin) Kastor has provided initial intent and has entered the 2011 Cow Harbor women's elite field. Deena has also won the 2008 Olympic trails, Chicago and London marathons. Along with countless very prestigious shorter races such mini 10K in NYC.
CH is a great warm up for NYCM for elites...I'm actually happy now that I can't run and will be volunteering...hopefully I will have a chance to hang with her! I ran the year Ryan Hall did it.

That's awesome!
My favorite thing about Cow Harbor is that while it is a competitive race that attracts elite runners, it is also such a fun race with incredible crowd support that EVERY runner can have a great time!
I better sign up soon! (Kept putting it off to see if I can improve my time and sign up with a better estimate.)
