I personally am not a fan of them...I have tried a few in the past like diazepam and it made me zombie like. I happen to do well on SSRI's.

I take 1/2 of the lowest dose of Klonopin when I am having a very bad attack or I can feel myself working up to one. I was nervous about taking it at first but it really helps me out when I need it.
