Dental cleaning 2ww
Is it safe? I have an appt this afternoon. I think it is safe, but I get nervous in the 2ww. I'm 11dpo today.

It is fine but they will probably forgo the X-rays. Just let them know you might be pregnant.

Yep, I've been having the worst timing so I haven't had x-rays in over a year. When I let them know I may be pregnant (and they ALWAYS ask) they skip the x-rays.

That was me last month. They also told me that when Im pregnant you can still do cleaning just no xrays.

you can still have xrays even if you're pregnant but they'll use an extra lead shield.
You take bitewing xrays once per year usually and a pan every 3 years, so you are probably due for the bitewings... but if you are really nervous about it just talk to them.

I had a cleaning done while I was preggo. I wasnt far along...only 3 weeks..but they ddi a clean but no xrays.
