Department store foundation?
I have a decent store credit from Macys and am looking for a really good liquid foundation.
I have very fair skin, and not a lot of lines or wrinkles (I'm 41 and thank genes and sunscreen for that!) so I don't need anything heavy in terms of coverage, but just want something that evens out my skin tone and makes it look dewy and something that I can wear under makeup without it looking cakey.
What's your favorite that's below 50.00?

Armani is fabulous - it's the only one I'll wear (I admit I don't wear foundation very often at all though, and I get it at a ridiculous discount as my sister works for LOreal) BUT, if you have 'free money' to play with - It's worth it !

Department store foundation?
Bobbi Brown is excellent, and I agree that Armani Luminous Silk is amazing.

Re: Department store foundation?
Smashbox Liquid Halo BareMinerals Bare Skin
I've tested both at Sephora and they give a dewy look. I ended up going with Hourglass but they don't sell it at Macy's.
Or try a BB cream. There's a Smashbox try it package with a BB cream and the Liquid Halo for $29.
I know lots of people love MAC studio fix but I believe thats more full coverage. Also, Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is very popular as well.

I agree. I used to always use teint idole from Lancôme but now I use drugstore since it's cheaper

I agree, except I do not have almost all the high end foundations! I did try to switch to Chanel and that was a fail and Mary Kay was a fail but I sort of expected that. Now I have foundation from 2 different lines from Lancôme and I really love them both.

I have heard great reviews about this one. Haven't bought it yet since the price tag is in the $60's

Re: Department store foundation?
I used to love Lancôme Teint Idol Ultra--but that is a heavier coverage. I stopped using it when my skin changed & I wasn't as oily.
Same thing with Hourglass- I loved the Immaculate when my skin was very oily.
I have never tried lighter formulas form these lines.
I have never tried it but MAC Face &Body is a popular lighter foundation from MAC.
Macy's doesn't carry Hourglass or Armani, but they do have Bobbi Brown, Lancome & MAC.
