OMG, i chopped ALL of my hair off in college like Sienna Miller. My mom and I were just going through old photos and I wanted to cry. It was cute but OMG so SHORT! It took me FOREVER to grow out!

i wanted "LONG, whispy bangs" - like ones i could sweep to the side-

instead I looked like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber

Ok, this is hard to picture, but I was 14, a HS freshman, and my dad would always cut my bangs to trim them for me. He could always do it so straight!

Anyway, one day he decided to be super neat and when he started to trim, he asked me to lean my head over a bag to catch the hair trimmings. Well, I leaned over, he cut and I was left with no bangs. I literally died and did some weird comb-over for months!!!

Other than that, my hair is hard to mess up and I never really got a bad haircut - at a salon!!!

I shaved my head. I loved it at the time, until people kept thinking I was aboy from far away.

I went to this one woman one time and I told her I wanted a trim and she cut my hair in a pixie cut. I was traumatized for weeks.

I cut my own bangs and of course it was right before a family portrait was being taken. My grandmother had it hanging in her room for years

I chopped 9 inches off my hair before the first trip DH and I took together when we were first dating. My hair barely touched my earlobes.

At the time, I *thought* I could pull it off, but now I can't even look at pictures of that amazing trip without cringing!

Why the hell didn't he tell me my hair looked like crap???

Probably in 7th / 8th grade when I started teasing my bangs and straightening my hair!

Ugggghhhh - I can't even look at those pics!

OMG! I have very very thick curly frizzy unmanageable hair. So what did have done at the age of 17? Went to the Lemon Tree and had them cut it really short. Wanna know who I looked like???

I was at the mall and was desperate for a hair cut. My salon had closed earlier and I think I was going away so I was in a rush. I went to some dumb salon at the mall and I came out looking like I had a puffy short cut that was sprayed with a can of hair spray. I looked at my dh and said I had never in my life cried over a hair cut, but was about to. I just walked out of the place in shock. I went home washed all the hair spray out, combed the puffy look out and was able to get a somewhate livable style out of it. I will never ever go to someplace I don't know again.

i decided i wanted kelly from 90210s haircut when it was SHORT-not realizing we did not have the same texture....it was so incredibly short n poofy....i wanted to die..

omg freshman year in college i got bored of my hair and went to this dinky hair salon (in roanoke, va) and asked for "layers" and the woman literally chopped off half my hair and it looked like a shelf right under my ears and then a long stringy layer underneath. it was mortifying!!! i had my friend cut off the stringy layer and then i had to wait for it to grow out....it was awful.

Early 2004 I got a mullet like haircut. Not a good look for someone with naturally curly hair. That was the last time I went to that salon!

That would be in Middle School after finals...I stupidly let me friends cut my hair...What a mistake! If I have a daughter (one day)that is one of the first lessons I will teach her "don't let your friends near your hair with a scissor"

I wanted to cut my hair over break during college and my roommate thought I wouldn't do it. So she came up behind me and chopped a huge piece of my hair out.

then I had to get it cut. And it ended up shorter than I wanted.

I never really had a bad haircut, but if I had to pick I would say when it was cut up to my chin! It was so short, and it took forever to grow back.
