We used the real estates broker - only because he got us a better rate than our bank/broker was offering. We had already had everything lined up with our broker and then changed brokers. We were lucky, we had no problems outside of me not liking the actual agent all that much.
We did not, however, use the RE's inspector or lawyer - We had an inspector recommended and used him and we used my mom's lawyer.
