OMG that is so sad and scary. My heart goes out to them. I feel so bad for your DH, that just made me hug my DD even tighter and I can't imagine how I'd feel witnessing this first hand.

that is so very sad, i cannot understand people who do these things. I hope they find the baby ok and the baby goes to a family who REALLY wants a baby.. I pray she gets the help she needs also

That is truly sad!
Many for the baby and mom.
Just makes you realize that you never know what is going on with a person at any point in time. They may look like everything is okay but their world might really be unhinging at the edges.
Truly, truly sad.

I wouldn't assume she doesn't really want or care about the baby since she shared pics of him in the past. It sounds to me like PPD or other issues in her life got too overwhelming and she made a poor decision. She obviously was beating herself up for it later in the day.

I agree but why not bring leave her with a relative, at a hospital, police station, etc.... I guess if she was thinking clearly she wouldn't have done it in the first place. I have mixed emotions about this.
In any case I hope the baby is ok and the mom gets the help she needs. Hugs to your DH

Hi - No news yet - DH said police are calling area hospitals and firehouses regarding the baby. He said a lot of gossip is going around work today and no one really has any update as of yet.
Still hoping for the best.

Does the police know the place tje baby was left? Maybe there should be something over the news like an Amber Alert? Poor poor baby it is so damp and rainy outside also.
