Over the last vacation we had a ton of prank phone calls to our house...Each and every one of them didnt block their #.. ..I had one mother call me back mortified that her kids did this..we had a good laugh and how stupid they were to not think about caller id!!!

Yes, please update us. DH is a teacher in a really bad section of Brooklyn and he got pranked once - we have no idea who it was , but it was def. a student. We have no idea how they got his number. Now my voice is on his voicemail- no more pranks.

I agree. I might be in the minority, and I know kids are kids and do dumb things, but if it happened to me, I'd be furious. I had a student somehow obtain my cell phone # this year (I have no idea how) and text me a grammar question. Harmless? Yes. But SO completely inappropriate and over the line. I was so angry. This was six months ago; she apologized, and it NEVER happened again. I'm glad your DH said that to her on the phone. They need to realize that teachers are people who have their OWN lives when they're not in school.
Wow... I wrote a lot. Sorry. It just struck a nerve.
