Diana1215 needs some hugs!
Diana's little Molly went to the vet today to get fixed. There have been some complications and they had to remove her right Kidney. I will let her tell the details.
Molly is being monitored, is heavily sedated and on IV. It is touch and go for the next 24 hours.
Please send Diana and Molly lots of prayers, hugs and Good Wishes!

Thanks guys. I feel like I am losing my mind. I brought her in this morning for a ROUTINE spaying and the doctor called and told me that there were complications. They cut the right uretha by accident and then because they did that they had to take out her right kidney. He said that she is not out of the woods yet and it is going to be touch and go for the next hours and overnight. I went there to see her and she looked so hurt and out of it. I am devastated and can't get my act together right now.
My DH was on a overnight field trip with school so he is now on his way home from upstate. We will go back there around 4:30 to see how she is and then we will pick her up and bring her to an overnight emergency animal hospital.
I am so upset and I feel so bad for her. I don't understand how a surgery that they probably do EVERYDAY can go so wrong.
Does anyone have any great vets that they love in the seaford area? we were using east meadow animal hospital and needless to say they will never see us again.
I just pray that she is ok. My poor little baby!

ETA: just read your post above, I AM LIVID!! I would be chocking the doctor for this! My dogs are like my children!
I am so sorry, we will all pray she recovers very very soon!!
