we use ours, but ONLY for poop diapers. this is a lesson my sister and bil learned the hard way. they passed this knowledge onto us and thank god they did.

Baby Bargains like the Diaper Dekor as #1 and the Diaper Champ as #2.
Consumer Reports likes the Diaper Champ the best.
Friends of mine that have babies all like the Diaper Champ so I registered for that.

WE used the Diaper Genie w/ DD #1 and I hated it. It smelled all the time no matter what!

Same here. This time around I did Diaper Champ and I LOVE it!!!
It is one of my must haves!!!
It never smells. and I use my own bags.

Funny b/c the other night I ran to BRU to buy something and a Dad came out and walked to his car with only dipaer hgenie refills. I was thinking .....thank god I didn;t get that. Who the heck would want to run out just to buy that?
To each is own but I love my diaper champ and I never have to worry about running out of bags.

I hated the diaper Jenie..used it for one day and then got so annoyed i threw the whole thing in the garbage..it smells and I don't like the idea of keeping CRAP in garbage for more then 5 minutes..just my opinion

I personally see them as a waste of money. I bought the blue bags that are baby powder scented, and those are good enough for me....

Blue bags do the trick!!! Ideally, that's all you need but the diaper champ is definitley worth putting on the registry.

I used the Diaper Genie 2. I love it. It's easy to use and so far keeps out the smell. I need to use it though because I have a dog and throwing diapers in the garbage is an open invitation for him to eat them

We registered for Diaper Dekor. Supposedly works just as well as Diaper Genie but the refill bags are cheaper.

I have the Diaper Genie 2 which is supposedly a whole world of a difference better than the 1.
I like mine and use it all the time. It is worth it to me because we don't have garbage to take out every day. I buy the refills anytime I am in BRU or Target. I always have 1 on backup.

Okay I don't want to sound dumb, but how does it help to use it for only the stinky ones and not the others? Just curious...I'll take any free advice that comes my way, but I didn't understand this one.
Also, I was torn between the Diaper Genie and the Diaper Dekor. We ended up choosing the Diaper Dekor Plus Diaper Disposal System.

Once your kid is on solids and doing proper man poos, you want that crap (excuse the pun) outside AS SOON AS IT LEAVES THE CHILD. IMO those things are a waste of money.l

I registered for the Diaper Genie...we got it and set it all up, however, we never used it. I actually just passed it along to my SIL who maybe will use it. For us, we just put the diapers in our regular garbage which is taken out each day anyway, so there was no need to store them all up in the genie. For us, it was a complete waste.

Eww I htink they're nasty. I will get a pail with a lid, and these-
and just empty the pail at every opportunity.
eta- those are Earth Friendly, biodegradable. I wish they made biodegradable diapers.
