Re: Did anyone buy a house in Suffolk with cespool
The vast majority of Suffolk residents have cesspools. Only a few areas have sewer systems.

Our home had a cesspool in the backyard. We filled it in and replaced it with a septic system.

We are in a sewer district but have cesspool. We pay $600 a year (in our taxes) just to have it available to us but it will cost us $$$$ to switch over. Something to think about if you are thinking of buying in a district and it's not hooked up already.

I have a cesspool system. I just spent $550 dollars today getting both of them hydrojetted and aerated.
