Did anyone deliver at Winthrop Hospital?
I'm switching doctors and this is the hospital they are affiliated with...Any comments/complaints? Thanks!

The labor & delivery rooms are wonderful...recently updated...the regular rooms are ok. The staff/nurses were wonderful!! I had a great experience there.

Just delivered there in March and had a great experience. Nurses and staff were great. I didn't have a private room but was very lucky to have a great roommate!!

i haven't delivered there yet but my SIL delivered both babies there and she loved it. she's a p.a. and thought the staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable (i'd hope) and said she wouldnt have gone anywhere else... i'm actually going on a hospital tour in a few minutes so i can tell you how the rooms look.

i liked them. roomate was fine too except my baby was in nicu and roomate had healthy baby in the room which made me sad....would have been worth cost of paying for private room, but used the money to buy baby stuff instead

I delivered my first there. The rooms are just ok on the small side and it was impossible to get a private room. My roommate was miserable (not the hospitals fault)
The staff was great. My biggest issues was that there was 46 babies in the nursey and there were woman laying everywhere waiting for rooms and they couldn't keep up with the laundry for the baby so he would sometimes have spitup on him all day.

I had NO problems at all, and all the nurses were just all so Nice and helpful!!!! HAving my 2nd there in October..

Best hospital experience ever! Loved everything about it - not 1 single complaint! Even the food was good! The nurses are incredible. I promise you will have a good experience there. I have never heard a bad thing about the maternity floor there.

I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at Winthrop.
The birthing rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice. The nurses there are incredible (they do most of the work).
I ended up with a c-section and spent 4 days there, so I got to meet a lot of the aides, nurses and doctors and I have no complaints.
The rooms themselves are in need of renovation, but the care was excellent.

I delivered DS there and was happy with everything/everyone. The labor room was nice and big. The room afterwards was small (i had a private room -worth every penny!) but clean.
The nurses were great and the food was OK too.
DS was in the NICU there and the nurses and dr.'s there were wonderful.
