did anyone else have direct deposit hit today?
I'm just curious, i just checked mine and it did hit.... but my paycheck is inexplicably more (~70 bucks) than it always is. And I didn't get a raise. Did something change with withholding? Anyone else see this?

eta: i literally JUST saw speakthetruth's post on new laws that go into effect and the change in SS withholding. i can't imagine it made THAT much of a difference in my check though?

DH's should've hit today but it didn't. Definitely by Monday. I will have to see if there is a $$$ difference.

You're on the same pay date schedule as me. We had 3 pay periods this month. So, if you have insurance taken out of your paycheck twice a month, then the third paycheck would not have anything taken out (bc they would be overpaying health ins).

hmm i am on dh's insurance though

do you have anything else that is only taken out twice a month? Money into your 401k for example?
I'm pretty sure the SS will only affect your next paycheck, since your paycheck was for the past 2 weeks of 2010.
