Did anyone else's milk come in after a D&C??!
After my D&E, I had a very traumatic experience where I got very engorged.. it was extremely painful for like 4 days, though my milk came in for about a week!!
I was told that was likely to happen because my loss was at 17wk3d.
However.......... I did NOT expect that to happen with this last loss!! It's not at all as bad as last time.. but I noticed that since my D&C my boobs have gotten bigger  and today... sure enough........ it came in. 9 days later.
Has this happened to ANYONE else or am I seriously the odd one out here.. as usual....
  
ETA: Dr.B emailed me back that it's normal.. but seriously.. I never heard of this after a D&C.. It may be normal but I feel like I'm the only one!!!

It happened to me after my 14 week loss! I was shocked!!
I'm guessing this has to do with my hormone levels being higher from having triplets.. so even though I was only around 8wks, my body thought I was further along Just a theory........

Yes but only a little... It dried on my nipple actually... I almost freaked out when I saw it... It took me a few days to realize what it was!!

its possible, what did the Dr. say
He just said it's fine and normal.... the higher hormone levels from triplets was just me speculating.
I bought nursing pads when I needed them last year and told my DH I'd save the rest till I need them again..... I didn't think the next time they would be put to use was after ANOTHER loss

I had a d&c at about 9 weeks (the baby stopped growing at 7 weeks) and i was still breastfeeding my 16 month old and experienced no increase or decrease of milk, I only bf 2-3 times a day at the most. I suspect my hormones are way out of wack though.
