OK, don't panic
When I was early in my pg (with twins) they told me something similar. They could find the heartbeat on one but that the heartbeat on the other looked very faint and weak. I posted about it and got very encouraging news. I
Turns out you may have implanted later than most and because of that the heartbeat isn't as prominent as they think it should be. That's probably what happend with one of my twins. All sonos seem fine now.
Don't panic. It's only going to increase your stress levels. I'm sure everything is going to be fine

thank you ladies so much for your thoughts!!
since monday, my numbers have continued to rise another 5k, so the doctor is "hopeful" that we will see something tonight. he believes based purely on numbers, we should definitely see something.

UPDATE: Well, it is pretty much over. The doctor saw the fetal pole, but no heartbeat. He is sending me tomorrow for a sonogram at a radiologist, but isn't hopeful. Since my body clearly thinks I am still pregnant, a D&C will be required.
