Did anyone really use their ErgoBaby to the weight limit? Or after baby was a year old?
I know the weight limit is 45lbs, but I am curious if anyone really used it after baby was an infant-12 months?

My babies are just a year old and I just started using it. I just bought it so I can cary them both using a bejorn in the front and the ergo in the back. I use it by itself all the time also. I can see myself using it for many many more months.

I used it with my son until we was over 2 and he was a big boy. I only stopped once it got uncomfortable to wear with my pregnant belly with my DD. Used it to about 18 months with DD and only stopped because she wanted to run everywhere on her own! Sent it off to a friend in Montana who had one for her new baby but whose 2 year old still wanted to ride in one as well when they went on family hikes. So depending on the child you can definitely use it for a long time.

wow, your core muscles must be insane!
Just bought the ERgo off of a mom with two toddlers. She still used it after they were both one.
DD is almost 6 months and outgrowing the bjorn. I have to say, ergo feels SO much better and DD seems to be way more comfy!

my son is 3 1/2 and i used it a couple of times over the summer when my littler one was in the stroller and 3 yo was tired. Still comfy and he felt much lighter than carrying him on my hip! He's a small kid, prob about 35 lb or so.

yup! My son is 22 months.... and he just used it last weekend when we went apple picking. the place we went has a huge hill we have to walk up... and the ergo was SO much easier than pushing the stroller, or trying to get him to walk up the hill we've used a bunch of other times recently, too. it does kind of look funny with an older kid in there- like they're uncomfortable or something... but it really is comfortable for the kid and the parent
