Did anyone see the horrible car crash on the northern state yesterday afternoon?
it was around exit 31 and looked pretty bad. i wanted to see if anyone had any good news about the passengers

We did! Overturned car, from what we could see. We were on the Northern State, but were then headed south on the Meadowbrook, so we got off just as the traffic was backing up. This was at about 2 p.m. and we could see up ahead the accident and flashing police lights.
On the way home, we took the Wantagh Pkwy north to the Northern State. Just as we approached the Northen State, we could still see the westbound Northern State backed up - 6 hours later!!
I told my DH it was more than likely a fatality for it to be backed up 6 hours later 
ETA: Did not see anything in the paper today.
