I started to bleed yesterday UPDATE
When I went to the bathroom yesterday there was blood in my underwear (sorry, tmi) but then nothing else. Occassionally I would have some very light spotting when I wiped. I had nothing through the night but when I got up this morning when I wiped again there was reddish/brownish blood and now just some very very light spotting. I have no cramping but I am so scared. I know this can be common but I am a bundle of nerves. Hopefully everything is ok.
They saw a heartbeat and everything looks fine!!!! They don't know what the spotting/bleeding is from but just said to take it easy. Thank you for all the well wishes!

Did you and DH have sex last night? It could be irritation of the cervix...
I would call your doc and see what they say

I had this in the 1st trimester, it can be common for some women but I think you should call you dr.

I have an appt. at 11:00. No sex last night. I wish that was the reason.

I was in the L&D on Friday night (I'm 16wks) because I was bleeding. It was right after a BM.  Doc said my cervix was irritated. I had this in my first tri as well.

hey honey dont worry i had blood like ap eriod for 2 weeks between 10-12w mine was very dark brown and iw ent to the dr 3 times during that period to get checked out. they told me to take it easy no heavy lifting try to be off your feet as much as possible and your body should heal itself.
it is best to call your dr and tell them each case is different but it is highly normal to have spotting your frist trimester. also if you are very worried go see the dr and do a sono and see that your baby is okay

I was just going to say this. Your cervioix is very sensitive so you don't necessarily have to have had s ex., I bled throughout my 1st tri with twins and have two healthy twin boys
