So mad... 5 bottles in the garbage! And I gave the recalled tylenol to DD the other day! Freakin out!

I just called my ped and they know NOTHING about it yet. How does the company not get word out to pedicatricians offices so the patients can get more information!

Can we return the recalled ones to the store? I too have 5 unopened bottles that I just bought at Target. Of course no receipt.

After the recall from them I believe last summer? I stopped buying the name brand. I only buy target brand tylenol and motrin, I had asked my brother since he works at FDA if they are manufactured differently and he said they were, and still tested the same. I find this appalling, that 1. this isn't the first time, and 2. that they are doing NOTHING about it!

This is crazy! When are these companies going to be held liable and accountable? They are playing with our children's health here and they don't seem to give a crap

my tylenol which I have given to him after one of his shots is recalled and my un-opened box of motrin is. Can I return the motrin?

Both of my bottles are recalled. This is infuriating and I'm so sick of these companies outsourcing everything to other countries for tax breaks and then not following the same standards.

ETA: the news just said these were all made in the US. Good thing our tax dollars are being spent so well by the FDA. This is ridiculous and I am quite horrified by the ineffectiveness of this very important government agency.

If anyone gets through to their help line (it opened at 9AM but I keep getting a recording saying they are too busy; call back later), could you please ask if we can return the bottles to them or the store where purchased? I have 5 bottles that I don't want to throw away.

4 bottles have to go in the garbage but I am keeping them just incase.

1 big bottle of tylenol is almost gone b/c I gave it to DS 3x's a day for almost 10 days straight when he had his tonsils out a couple of weeks ago....I can't believe this. There better not be any dangerous side effects.

I just called mine too and they were CLUELESS. I was stunned! The Nurse Practioner said to call back in an hour, she was going to call the PED but believes like the past recall she said which the PED said to just give the store brand pain killers. But, are these ok, how well do they work?

I always buy store brand tylenol and motrin but I do have 2 Benadryl that have been recalled. Total bullsh!t

Just spoke with both PED and Pharamacist and they said to give a generic (store brand) instead. They said its the same potency, same dosage and kind.

ok, how bad a mother am I? I remember the january recall but never checked my medications and I have 4 that were on that list. However, do I throw those away? It said on the top of that recall notice that it was not a general recall and parents do not need to take any action...what the heck does that mean? I have 4 medications on this new list all not opened. I am so ****** off. I have 8 medications sitting on my table that i have to throw out.
