Yes but no more - I paid them all off before I got married. I took out the max loan possible each year in order for me to stay in college (even with half scholarship and finiciial aid - needed max because I wanted to go away to school).

I had undergad loans, which are all paid off.
But, I never had loans from graduate school because I paid that as I went....it was TOUGH and my social life suffered quite a bit....but it felt so good to graduate and not owe anything!

None for undergrad (thanks mom and dad!). I paid for law school myself and had an outrageous amount of student debt from doing so. I am very proud to say that by the end of 2013 I will be student debt free! I think this feels like a bigger accomplishment than actually graduating from law school, passing the bar or getting my first legal job!

Yes, graduate is almost all paid off (they were small) but undergrad loans will take a while to be paid off.

Yes, I have $995 left to pay on them  I keep saying I want to pay them off but the 2% interest and small monthly payments make me keep them! I went to only public schools and my parents gave me a set amount towards them. My last 2 years I lived at home and the final year I got a full scholarship. I think in total when I got out I had $7k... I am a HUGE fan of public universities and will encourage my kids to choose them when the time comes. DH only went to college for one semester so he has no loans, thankfully.
