Did you invite anyone or was it just you and your DH?

We didn't include anyone else in anything -
We felt it was something we wanted to keep between us.
IMO NO ONE should have that expectation of you - If you CHOOSE to invite others to join you, to me, that is an extremely generous gestrue that they should be grateful for ........NOT at all an expectation though -

nope. and I don't plan to either.
I've gone to every appt solo. dh is an acct and this is his busy season. if he ever wants to come, he's more than welcomed (obviously  ) but no one else.
I need time to absorb everything that happens to ME, good and/or (God Forbid) bad, and having anyone in my head at these visits is not something I want to invite.

It's just been myself and my husband at the sonograms. I don't really think I would want anyone else there, though no one has asked me. I'm weird about that stuff!

Just so you know, the first sono is generally internal - you might not want an audience for that.

Just me and DH.
We invited our mothers to our Level II. They are both very excited about that and were touched we invited them. I was so nervous for the first sono, I was happy it was just em and DH.

DH and I for most of them, but invited my parents to Level 2 and my MIL for my 29 week sono. The rest will only be me and DH.

My mom came to one of them because DH could not get off from work. She will come again to my growth sono because again DH can't get off.

Only DH & I have gone to our sonograms. My mom lives OOS so it is almost impossible for her to come. I don't think it would be fair to have my MIL there & not my mom, so DH & I decided to keep the sonograms between us. We do share the pictures with everyone when we get back though

First two were just me (5w1d and 9wks).
DH came for the ultrascreen, I went to the 16w genetic scan alone and we invited my mom up for the Level II.

Its just been my mom and i. My DH hasnt been able to come b/c he has a new job, and cant take off. Plus for the most part, i have had sonograms weekly and my mom drives me there since i cant drive.
I am just exhausted from going to the doctors all the time. so i havent invited anyone else to come, and im not gonna invite anyone else.

Not the first one (that was an internal sonogram!).
I did invite my MIL to the 2nd level since DH couldn't get off work. When she bailed on me the morning of the sonogram, she was crossed off the list. My mom volunteered to come but I was so angry, I didn't want anyone to come.
Later I told DH at any given appointment, I could be given REALLY bad news & it would be in his best interest to be there no matter what.

Agreed. MIL came with us to a growth sono I had at 40 weeks (2 days before my due date) but only because I didnt want to go alone and I didnt think DH would be able to make it (but he did).
ETA: Check with your OB, I never had an internal sono. but my first was at nearly 9 weeks

The beginning it was just us. We wanted tomake suer everything was okay. The only sono that we are bring family to is a 3d sono that we are getting at 28 weeks. His sister and mine and both moms.

No, it has been just me and DH at each sonogram. I had several internals and also in case we got bad news or something, I wanted no one else there but DH. We do show everyone the pictures we get after every sonogram though.

Nope- just DH and I. We live out of state, so inviting parents isn't really an option, but I wouldn't have anyway. I have had early sonos not turn out well, and that would have been even worse had it been a roomful of people. I still get very anxious and agitated before my appts., so I really need to be left alone....
Plus, the fact that early sonos are internal- I would not want my dad or his dad in the room for that. Yuck!
ETA: I would have no problem with having them at a later sono- just not until we are out of the woods and external.
