Did your feet change after pregnancy?

I'm just wondering if there's any hope for fitting back into my shoes. I haven't been able to fit into most of my shoes since my feet started swelling at 29 weeks. By 31 or 32 weeks, none of my shoes fit including sneakers. I had to buy larger size sneakers, which is basically what I've been wearing for the past few weeks. The sneakers have helped the swelling in my feet, but I still can't wear any of my old shoes.

If you had a lot of swelling during pregnancy, did your feet change? Were you able to wear your old shoes or did you need to buy new ones? At what point did you realize that your feet had changed?

I heard your feet do get a size larger after after pregnancy, I was an 8 before I had kids, now I'm an 8 1/2, so it was true for me.

While I was PG my feet went up a whole size to 8/8.5

They thank fully went back to their old size...but my feet are WAY wider now

My went up 1/2 size and never shrunk back.

My feet swelled terribly towards the end of my pregnancy...Size wise, they went back to the same, but they did get wider...so I have trouble with some of my old shoes now...

My feet were very swollen during pregnancy and they did go back to normal-ish width afterwards. But my shoe size also increased by a 1/2 size.

Yes and I had alot of great shoes
I went from a .65-7 to a 7.5 -8 and I agree they also feel so wide.

yep - they got 1 size bigger and never went back I am just happy I was never a "shoe" person and didn't have any super expensive ones.

If they get bigger with future DC#2, I will be VERY upset.

No they didn't, but I hear a lot of women say that theirs did get bigger.

I was a 7 and went up a size and a half But thankfully they went back to a 7....But my hair well that is a whole different story it is just a disgusting mess.... I want my curls back!

Yikes! My feet are already wide. I'm really a 7.5 W, but can usually fit into 8 M. I had to buy sneakers in 8.5 and was even trying some 9s in certain shoes b/c my feet are so swollen.

I always have trouble finding shoes that fit b/c my feet are wide. I can't imagine the trouble I'll have with shoes if they get wider. Thanks everyone.

My feet are the same size as they were pre-pregnancy- however, shoes just fit different! I don't know if my feet are slightly wider or what- but things defintely aren't the same!

2 girls 14 months apart and my feet are exactly the way they were pre pg. Now during pg, they were swollen, grew a 1/2 size for both

yes for me. i went from a 6.5 to a 7.

During my pregnancy my feet did get ½-1 size bigger. Now the shoes I bought for that time during my pregnancy, are too big, all my pre pregnancy shoes fit again - so there is hope!

i was a 7.5-8 before, during and after...my feet didnt change at all

I went up a 1/2 size whil pg, but soon went back to the same size as before.

Mine went from an 8 1/2 to a nine and stayed there

my stayed thesame, but i do feel a slight increase in my hips

I was terribly swollen and it took about 2 weeks or more to fit into some of my shoes (sandals b/c it was summer) and even then they were tight for a bit. It also took a while to get my wedding rings back on. Now, my shoe size is the same and my rings fit (the biggest change with that was my knuckle!).
