Did your pregnancy dating change in the beginning?

Like at one appt the doctor estimated you to be farther along than you were based on a previous appt?

yes - this time I was measured 9 days (I think) ahead of my LMP

Yes. According to the dial and my last cycle I was told one date. However, we had 2 early sonograms and were given another date, about 5 days later.

Oh yes, mine changed 4 times!

First it was 10/4 (based on my 5 week appt measurement)
then 10/1
then 9/27
then after the ultrascreen, 9/22
but, the level II confirmed 9/22 so thats what it stayed at.

He only officially changed it once though, in his paperwork from 10/4 to 9/22. Which seems so odd to me, thats a whole 12 days difference? I could see being off a week, but almost 2 weeks? I gave up trying to figure it out!!

The dr is estimating one date and the sono tech said I was a little further along, she put my due date 4 days earlier than the doc said. But the Dr's office said they would still go by the date they calculated.

Yep, my 1st pg, I consistenly measured 1 week ahead, but doc didn't change date.

My second pg, I measured 1 week behind and doc changed my due date.

My date moved by two days. Means pretty little since I could go late.

Yes! Mine was August 8th, then 10th, and now it's August 7th.

Ok..bc at my first u/s, my doc said I measured about 5w6d, but I really think I was a few days farther along than that, based on my own calculations. I have another u/s Wednesday (at around 7.5 weeks), and I am just wondering if his estimate of how far along I am can change.

Mine has only changed by a day, then changed back. My doctor says he locks in the due date by the measurements at the 8 week sonogram. After that, everything has been consistent for me anyway.

In total, I've moved up 4 days or so.

July 17.... then, I switched Dr.'s
and the new sono/new Dr.

July 10th.

(I kept telling them it's just going to be a tall baby! My DH is 6'2 and I'm almost 5'8)- LOL

Now, here we are @ 36 wks, and can come any day now!

Go by the sono's- it's normal to change around a bit, but it's still just a guesstimate 2 weeks in either direction.

Because the conception of this child was practically a science experiment, plus having a boringly predictable 28 day cycle, I know EXACTLY the day she was conceived.

This child has measured exactly on the dot for my EDD since the first sono. Although- last week she measured one day ahead.....

yep this happened to me at my Level I test. I was much further along where they changed my date from Nov 1st to Oct 24th.

I only had one sono, and the date stayed the same from his original date. But I also knew exactly when the baby was conceived because I had been charting and using OPKs.

My doctor wont change my due date...he still has it at Sept 14..but the perinatalogist has it as Sept 9..He says that a few days doesnt matter.

But if you went by my LMP my due date would of been August 26.
