I actually said oh it's a boy and she refused to agree but I knew I saw a wink. She claimed at 12 weeks they both look the same- this was to long to be a girl- and I was right!

My tech asked if we were going to find out and we said yes. She said well I can tell you that I'm 85% sure that its a girl. She was correct along with 3 pychics that I have seen within the past 5 years.

Ours took a guess and said she would "be surprised" if it weren't a boy....we just had our 16 week sono and the Dr. took a look and said it was a boy....

No - she said it was WAY too soon to tell -
DH was desperate for her to 'just take a guess' - but honestly, I didn't want her to tell me one thing that I would end up wrapping my head around and then finding out it was the opposite @ 20 weeks - KWIM?

My doctor saif that they would guess if that's what we wanted - he said that the sono tech that does the ultrascreens is really good at guessing!

The regular tech wouldn't even try to guess at 20 weeks!!
We had to wait until we saw the perinatologist a few days later where they had better equipment

Yup - ours said her "educated guess was boy" and she was right  We didn't confirm at the 20 week - we wanted a surprise.

I just got back from my 12 week scan, and the tech said that she can tell the sex 80% of the time. Good luck!

I also asked at my 13 week and she said way too soon ! I am going to have to wait another 6 weeks to find that out

Glad everything went well!!.... I wanted so badly to know at the level 1 but no guess by the tech for me....my level 2 is in 5 days though

I'm so happy that everything went smoothly!! Something about those sono's makes everything better! Sorry they couldn't make a guess, mine wouldn't either!

Yeah at the lvl 1 she told me girl....and at lvl 2 (diff tech) it was plain as day boy

mine wouldnt but i went to my 15 week appt at my doctors and i asked him if he can tell,,,, he said he was looking and has his guesses but isnt sure, said that ill have to wait till my 20th week at the hospital. and i asked him Is it a boy? (bc this entire time i think its a boy) and he says ahhh i dont think so.
so maybe ill be team

so happy things look good, mine wouldnt guess either , my hearbeat was 171 when i went at 11w 5d so maybe you have a boy since it was lower than 160
my appt took 45mins.
