Digging out a basement?
Has anyone done this?
There is an existing basement but it is more like a crawl space (I can stand up in it but my head practically hits the ceiling). I would like to make this more livable space by digging down another 3 feet or so.
Has anyone done this or had this done?
how much? Anyone to recommend?

Digging out a basement?
We did it four years ago - it cost approx $17k. We used paramount construction and were pleased with their work - it took about a week. I posted about it a lot back 4-5 years ago. FM any qs

We were interested in doing this too , but I had heard it would be super expensive. We only have a crawl space right now. I googled paramount construction - are they located in Lynbrook?
