disapointed with my stroller..wwyd?

i talked my dh into spending the $$ on my stroller (Peg Perego Switch) i played with tem all in the store but ig uess i just had my mind set on that one before going in so thats what we got.. and now that i have it... im so disapointed in it. I cannot get to the basket at all which means i cannot bring diaper bag because it doesnt it. and i can not shop and use the basket.

my DH is about to kill me because i dont really want to use it because its not what i was hoping for. and it would be all wasted $$ that we didnt really have to splurg. it was only used about 6times and all but 2 of them i used it on my back deck only for her to have a place to sit.. So What do i do? try to return it? (we dont have the box anymore.) try to sell it and get some money back? or Suck it up and just use it.

i feel awful that dh is so upset with me, im upset that i wasnt more open to something else alot cheaper and better for me.

I would try to sell it on Craigslist and put the $$$ towards something else

The same thing happened to me. When I was pregnant with the twins, I was set on the Peg double Aria. I found it on a great sale and my MIL ordered it right away. I used it 3 times! It was terrible for city streets. I contacted Peg and they were less then helpful. It is now sitting in storage because I cannot bring myself to sell it to another city person because I know it works like crap.

You could try and contact Peg. Maybe you will have better luck then I did.

I would try and sell it and buy something that you can really use.

BTW, I found a double jogger hardly used on CL for 200.00! It was the best 200 I have ever spent!

thanks ladies that what i thought i should do... my dh is so angry, but at the same time he feels the same why we shouldnt waste money! if we can try and sell it! but who knew? i tried to play with it before the baby came but im a first time mom so i didnt know how important some things would be after she came!

Why can't you use the basket? I have the Switch and I use the basket all the time.

What about getting a new diaper bag that can fit?

My aunt just returned her stroller at BRU without the box with no problem. They got a credit I believe. They may pro-rate it based on wear and tear (I heard that somewhere).

i hate that i cannot access the basket from the back and there is metal crossbars over the basket so it really limits space.

i'd definitely sell it on cl and see what you can get!

for me though - i don't put my diaper bag (we have a graco) IN the basket... i hang it on the push bar! it gives me all the space in the world in the basket that way!
