discovered a pain yesterday far worse than labor!
kidney stone!!!
Wow...DH said he's never ever seen me scream so loud and be in such agony..ever! not even when I gave birth to my 9.5 lb 22 inch vaginally and sunny side up and induced with Pitocin!!!
Girls...it was bad....but the nurses at L & D at NSUH took such good care of me....
Luckily, I passed the stone...but it was 12 of the absolute most excruciating hours ever!!!
Baby is well and kicking up a storm..thank G-d!

Oh I have had those! I feel SOOOO bad for you.
The pain is the worst I have ever felt in my life- I can't imagine labor to be any worse.
(If it was I don't think anyone wuold ever have more than one child!)
I was given morphine at the hosptial when I was in the throws of one - and the morphine didn't even take the EDGE off.
Death would have been better!
And the kicker- the first one I had- took a WEEK to pass.
I'm sorry you had to go through it- esp pregnant- glad it passed!
ETA- as soon as I read the title of your thread I said- I BET she means a kidney stone!

Actually peeing them out is painless...it's the journey from your kidney down the tube to the bladder that is excrutiating!
It feels like someone has a hot knife and is twisting it in your back and side!
Once it gets into your bladder- sweet relief!

Thanks girls...it has been a rough weekend...but so glad its over.....
for those who know the pain..dont worry..labor should be a piece of cake for you!! lol!!!
