DM24Angel and other homemade baby food moms...
are you cooking the fruits still? Like if I have very ripe peaches or pears do I need to cook them? Is it easier to digest cooked rather than raw?

I steam them too. It's easier to get the skin off too.
I just stick them in a bit of boiling water, then the skin peels right off and they are mushier and kills anything bad still lurking. I only steam things like Peaches, apricots and softer fruits for about 1 minute.
Harder fruit that you peel before hand like pears and apples, I cut up and steam...about 15 minutes at most for those fruit.
