Re: Do I need an infant sleep positioner?
My son was having trouble sleeping because of gas, he also had extra mucous since I had a c-section and would cough it up in his slepp. I was worried about him chocking on it and asked our pediatrician if I should get him a sleep positioner, she said to have him sleep in his carseat. So now he sleeps in the carseat in the crib.
She didn't say there was anything wrong with the positioner, just that the carseat would be better for his issues.

Re: Do I need an infant sleep positioner?
i'll be using one, but probably just when i bring him places for naps...
it was on one of morning shows about the sids, the baby can actually slid/wiggle down- then their face can smother in the sides....
im going to get one of those wedges for the crib to give him an incline without the smother risk for sleeping overnight

I registered for one originally but then took it off because I read it was unnecessary.
