The majority of people that answered WERE mom's and I think because we found it very funny as a mother.
I think mother's can understand childless families more than a childless family can understand a family that has children so that is why they don't answer as much on that board.

Normally I would never post on here but I read this one thread and found it to be hysterical. So I thought it would be ok to thank the OP for sharing a good laugh. But I guess even that is frowned upon. I would have never said anything to start a parent vs. non-parent fight on here.

I'm a mom and I found that article very funny.
Partly because some of it is true. I don't understand how moms can even be offended by it because it's clear that it's an exaggeration and that the writer is poking fun at herself. As a mom, you need to have a sense of humor and those that don't find it funny (and even a little true) probably don't have much of a sense of humor to begin with.

I can't speak for everyone, but my answer goes like this: I spent most of my life CF. I waited a long time to have a child. I love my child and would kill for them... but I'd love to spend a dinner out w/o having to check someone's butt for poops.

I think it is kind of like how some (not all) CF women try and tell mom's what they are doing wrong with their kids and giving advice when they don't really understand.
