Do you believe in "signs?"

Like as in the universe trying to tell you something or signs from those who have passed? Does anyone have any examples of signs that have come to fruition.

I don't really. I guess I am not very spiritual and just never pay attention. But I LOVE these kind of stories and I think the universe "sent me a sign" yesterday or it was a pure coincidence, so it had me thinking.

I do..for example just yesterday was the anniversary of my grandpas passing 24 years ago
We used to play that game where you put a glove with velcro on and throw the ball and it sticks to the glove
last night my DH and I were in Marshalls and we went our separate ways
when we met up my DH had the exact game and was like should I get this to play on the beach this summer with you...It gave me the chills and I smiled :)

Re: Do you believe in "signs?"

When I was trying to get pregnant with my DD, I saw a medium who told me my DD's spirit is with my grandma right now and she's holding her until my body is ready because the baby has to be healthy. I thought that was odd bc my grandma was very sick and I was never completely close to her before she passed. Anyway, fast forward a year later I got pregnant with my miracle baby. A few weeks in, I was sleeping and very loudly, I heard my grandmas voice clearly yell "girl" in my ear to the point that I jumped up out of my bed and it was so random during a dream that didn't even include her. It was like she was just sitting next to me. Anyway, when they did the sono I already knew. I know it's a 50/50 chance and could have been coincidence but I highly doubt it. Still kinda creeps me out to this day lol

About 3 weeks ago my DH grandma passed. We'd been talking via FaceTime up until her passing.

The day she passed we hadn't been in DS room at all. Even when it was bedtime and we went in, I had physically gone into his sheets to get his clothes. It was just his pillow and blanket. We turned around, sat on the floor and read. When he went to go into bed after, my DH childhood teddy bear was on his pillow. It was the teddy bear that his Grammy had gotten him. Yes we keep it in DS room, but it was no where near the bed at that time.

I smiled.

Re: Do you believe in "signs?"

Yes, I strongly believe in signs.

I've had them my whole life, but especially when I was sick. I don't want to divulge a ton of details really...things like that from that period of time stay very secure in my heart...but there were certain things that I would happen upon, very specific images, that I know were from people who passed away...people telling me to keep on truckin' through treatment.

Two of my friends died this year. I have been having a really, really hard time coping with the losses. I was in my den, listening to some songs and sobbing...totally missing one of them, going over our last conversations...and all of a sudden I looked up on my bookshelf and there was a little trinket he had given me. One I had been looking for for MONTHS. It was like he saw how sad I was and wanted to let me know things were okay. Mind you, I dust that shelf once a week or so. I would have seen it. DH hadn't put it there.

The other friend that passed...she was young, my age. She loved a particular group of cartoon characters and I keep finding myself with the theme song popping up around me. It's sort of obscure now; big in the '80's. I can't help but wonder if she has something to do with that.

I don't believe in signs...I think we just tend to notice things more that have some sort of significance to us.

I want to believe in signs... whether it is real or not who knows?!? Im always finding dimes and random things shaped into hearts (ex: could be a piece of fuzz on the floor or like this morn, a glob of toothpaste my daughter left in the sink). Maybe it's just my brain searching these things out without realizing... I don't know.

But i remember this one day I was distraught and asked for a sign from my grandmother. Not 2 seconds later, my daughters tablet just started playing the sound of a video she must've been watching last... and the screen was off. I'd like to believe that was my sign. I also asked my grandmother for a sign about putting my daughter in dance school again... all of a sudden a song that never comes on the radio played (one that my daughter danced to in her recital). I went back to sign her up for dance ... and the total came out to my grandmothers birthday... and as I'm typing this right now, my Dd's tablet just went off!!! Strange things!!! I think someone wants to restore my faith again!

Re: Do you believe in "signs?"

Yes.

I find dimes in weird places, or where there was nothing before. That's my mom / MIL.
Weirdest one was the one standing on edge on my ironing board.

I sometimes get a heavy feeling, like someone is hovering around me, then a whoosh when they go away. Haven't figured out who it is yet, not sure if I want to know Chat Icon

I've been getting very consistent ones lately, but haven't figured out who it is or what they're trying to tell me.
I'm going through a rough time with someone in my life. And whenever I think about it (or the person), and I happen to look at any clock, it is 11:11 (or 12:12, 1:11, etc). It's been happening for months (since Feb) and it's too often to be a coincidence.

If I figure it out, I'll update. LOL.

I want to believe in signs.

The only one I can think of...we had been trying to get pregnant for about a year and were going through infertility treatments. I was really upset thinking that the latest month hadn't worked. DH and I took a walk. It was Memorial Day weekend. We were walking on a residential street and suddenly there must've been 100 butterflies. All around us. It was beautiful and amazing. For whatever reason, butterflies had always reminded me of my grandmother. I found out I was pregnant a day or 2 later.

Honestly no. I just don't. And it's not like I don't think others see signs, I just don't see them for myself

Yes, I think this thread is actually a sign - I was thinking I was being sent signals today, but I wasn't sure. Then I saw this and said ok, I'll listen to my signs.

I believe spirits can communicate. I feel like people communicate in this life, so why not in the next?

Many of us talk to our deceased loved ones, so why not the opposite?

Yes. My son was born with liver disease and has been in and out of the hospital. After my grandmother passed I find feathers and ladybugs. I've found them before something bad happens and after. Once we were sitting in the ER and my son needed a blood transfusion. I was very scared and nervous and all of a sudden a fluffy white feather floated in front of my face. I felt it was her telling me it would be ok.

Yes I believe. Too many instances to name. For all of you that don't see signs you have to look and when you see it you have to accept it and not doubt it!

Yes. We have been looking for our forever house for a very long time. Years and years.
One morning a few months ago I was woken up by someone whispering in my ear " you need to start packing ". It completely freaked me out since DH wasn't home and the kids were all sleeping.

We found our house that week and are closing soon.

I never did until my father died. He passed away suddenly on Holy Thursday. My parents' house is on a dead end of a very small street. If you don't live on it, you don't drive on it. That weekend I was there with my sister while my mother was not home. We are just sitting there, numb and devastated and the doorbell rings. I answer and it's a flower delivery. Ok. Whatever. Then I look at the card and it says, "Happy Easter, Love Dad". We both froze. Later they came back apologising because that delivery was made in error, not for our street - no where near it, in fact. No funeral arrangements came from them either. They had no idea how it happened. I remember them apologising for the mistake. But I am 100% confident that was no mistake.

Definitely.

A friend of mine passed almost two years ago. The day I had heard about his passing, I asked him to send me a sign just letting me know he was okay and at peace.

A couple of nights later, our smoke detector started going off, and then stopped just as quickly. That was the first and last time it ever did that. It is hard wired, so it could not have been a battery. And the power had not gone out.

Re: Do you believe in "signs?"

Just adding to this-
I woke up the other day thinking about a coworker who I was going to see. Great kid and he lost his brother before I knew him. Just popped into my head and I immediately thought how great of a kid he is and that I hope his brother watches over him. I get into work, great day and I had a slow schedule and at one point he comes up to me and just sits with me talking about his life and an issue he was going through. I have worked with him for months and he never just opened up to me sitting with me. I spent a long some talking to him about something I went through and basically ended that everything happens for a reason in life. That day the internet decided not to work, my sink auto sensor became unplugged on its own and he saw the sign behind me move as we were talking. He kept saying- I think you have a ghost following you today! I kept smiling bc I have a feeling his brother was hanging around us. I even told him- nope I think someone may be saying hello to you actually and he grinned. I guess could have been coincidence but it was all too crazy how it played out!

Many signs from my dad. Not going to go into long stories but he loved James Bond, so 007 keeps popping up randomly and my brother just found a house on James Street!
