YEs...usually clothes for DD...children's place, Hartstrings, etc....I usually hit up the clearance racks at the end of the summer...

Most of my first DD's wardrobe has come from end of season clearance sales. I check all the places I normally shop. I also get emails from most places when they have sales and coupons etc. I do not think I have paid full price for any of her clothes. She is always dressed nicely and I am reusing most of her stuff for DD #2.

I bought a lot of winter stuff for next year and plan to do the same with summer. DD has a beautiful wardrobe - much better than mine!

yup. this past March I bought a TON of clothing for fall/winter for DS. Children's Place clearance is the best. Everything was $1.99. I got fleece jackets, hoodies, jeans, cargo pants, long sleeve tees, sweat pants/shirts all for $1.99 each. They should be having the summer clearance sale very soon and I will def stock up for next summer.

I planned to, but DS growing like crazy I have no idea what size he'll be.
He's 4m and
I have him in 9m jammies 
and in 12m onesies all day.
Next summer, he's going to be in toddler clothes, or maybe just young men's, IDK anymore, I'm scared to buy more than a season in advance. I had to get rid of so much clothes!

Nope, because I'm not sure of DD's size and I like to buy right before the season because I love to shop.

I did for this coming fall winter now that its a little easier to guage, well see how well i did in a few months.

YES! I got a few items last year that DS wore this summer and I'm glad cause it was soooo cheap!!! lol Some stuff was .99 cents! You can't beat that!
Children's Place, Old Navy, Gap, wherever if its a good bargain I'll probably get it! The only thing is you ahve to guess what size they will be and hope you're right.

No. Abby is tiny. She is almost 2 and can still wear some 12 month sizes. 18 month sizes often swim on her. No point in trying to predict what she size she will be a year from now.

Ditto....I will buy some staples such as basic shirts etc..but not go nuts bc of the above reasons

Absolutely!
Lily has always been really predictable size wise....and I love shopping, so I make sure to stock up at the end of the season for the next year.
Of course, then I forget how much I bought and wind up getting too many things....

No, because I don't know what size they will be. I've done this in the past and wasted a lot of money.
Hopefully as they get older their sizes will become more predictable.

yes, ton's of clothes... the way i figure it i get a whole summer wardrobe for next year for under $100.00( and my DD had ton's and ton's of clothes) and then when the time comes around and i see a really cute outfit that's a little pricey i don't feel bad buying it because of the deals i got on everything else. so i can still go out and buy some of the new stuff also.
We've found great deals, at Macy's, Penny's, Sears, BRU, Kohls, Gap/ON and even children's place.

I might pick up a few things. I usually just get it the size or two bigger. If its a good deal and it doesnt fit them I know plenty of people with kids the same age so it won't be a waste or a charitable donation.
