I did but then I was mugged and a few months later, someone started opening up credit cards in my name . What a mess!!!  Now it's in the safe.

I used to but after I got married and we got a safe, DH and I keep ours in there with our passports and marriage certificate

nope, i did for the longest then when i had to get a new one, b/c i got married, dh took it and put it with other important papers. and i've had my ss # memorized since college, that was my id so i had to learn it.

I needed it at summer camp and I never took it out, so i started carrying it in my wallet when i was 13. Then I lost/got robbed of my wallet a few months later and it was gone.
